Position Goal:
Support the production process by performing assembly, soldering, testing, and packaging of monitoring devices. Ensure product quality through careful inspection and testing during the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities:
Production Duties:
Solder surface-mount and through-hole components on circuit boards.
Assemble and test cables, sensors, and finished monitoring nodes.
Identify and correct soldering issues, such as solder bridges, cold joints, or insufficient solder.
Install and assemble circuit boards into enclosures.
Follow assembly documentation and test procedures accurately.
Inventory Duties:
Identify and flag parts for re-order.
Restock bins and assist with periodic inventory counts.
Shipping Duties:
Package finished products for shipment.
Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup and delivery.
Ensure shipping documentation is completed accurately.
Quality Control Duties:
Inspect completed work for quality and functionality.
Follow established protocols to ensure products meet performance standards.
Assist in identifying and suggesting areas for process improvement.
Communication Duties:
Communicate effectively with the production team and manager.
Provide timely feedback on issues, process changes, or inventory needs.
Experience & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of electronics assembly experience preferred.
Familiarity with soldering techniques, PCB assembly, and cable manufacturing.
Ability to read and follow technical documentation and schematics.
Soldering and wire/cable assembly and testing may be required as part of the hiring process.
Position Details:
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $15 - $18 per hour (DOE)
Work Environment: Onsite in Redding, CA; Smoke- and drug-free office.
