Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in vehicles, including engine, transmission, and brake systems
- Conduct inspections and testing to identify problems and recommend appropriate solutions
- Use hand tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs and adjustments
- Align wheels and balance tires for optimal performance
- Weld and perform auto body repairs as needed
- Repair or replace automotive electrical systems
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as necessary
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficient in using hand tools and specialized automotive equipment
- Experience with tire service, including alignment and balancing
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems
- Ability to diagnose and repair various mechanical issues in vehicles
- Familiarity with auto body repair techniques is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
