Our general laborer duties will be:
Typical construction duties such as lifting, bending, stooping, crawling, standing for extended periods of time, walking short and long distances, digging, sweeping, raking, shoveling, moving materials in a wheelbarrow or bucket and running light duty power equipment (jackhammer, tamper, concrete saw). Assist plumbers with measuring, cutting, pipefitting, hanging pipe, grading pipe, insulating pipe, replacing fixtures, troubleshooting plumbing problems in a residential and commercial setting. Lift up to 75 lbs. overhead. Maintain jobsite, job trailer, and warehouse cleanliness and organization. Pick up and transport material from distributors to jobsites.
Additional requirements: Well-spoken and capable of taking direction and relaying information to team members in a clear and concise manner. Able to make and act upon decisions. Excellent troubleshooter. Good organizational skills. Ability and willingness to work independently or with a crew of 1 or more people. Must be physically capable of performing all duties assigned. Be safety conscious performing tasks and follow all CalOSHA, CSLB and State of California regulations and requirements. Maintain a clean driving record and being insurable. Have the heart of a teacher.
No experience necessary although a positive attitude and strong work ethic with a desire to grow and succeed in the construction industry is a must!

Wage will be: $17.00-$19.00 Per Hour DOE
