Job Details: Perform a variety of facility mechanical, plumbing, and electrical repairs and troubleshooting. Utilize basic tools to execute facility repairs. Including but not limited to a voltmeter, tape measure, electric drill, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc. Assure safe and timely execution of all assigned maintenance tasks, with proper documentation. Collaborate and communicate appropriately with team members and site customers to ensure satisfactory performance of facilities equipment and minimize impact to customers. Ability to read and understand electrical, piping, and floor plan drawings. Basic computer skills, with the ability to utilize programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and email. Ability to assist with shipping and receiving tasks, delivery of shipments to customers, and furniture moves. Escort and provide oversight of various vendors supporting with maintenance and repairs.Essential Skills
1-2 years of experience within MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.
Understanding of HVAC equipment, including RTUs, fan coils, exhaust fans, and heating hot water boilers.
Knowledge of electrical hazards and safety, ability to use a meter, identify power/no power, and understand electrical panels.
Ability to change light bulbs, ballasts/drivers, and replace receptacles.
Ability to identify leaks, turn off supply water, replace filters, perform minor drain/plumbing repairs, and unclog drain lines.
Ability to clean ejector pumps.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Someone with really good communication skills verbal/written/ computer skills
Understanding of lab water systems, including water softeners, reverse osmosis, and deionized water systems (bonus).
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in computer skills.
