CALLING ALL CNC MACHINISTSDescription:
The operator will be responsible for the operation of various CNC machine tools, which include Lathes and Mills.
The operator will be responsible for keeping the CNC machine tools running and checking the parts being run. This includes the operation of several machine tools at one time.
The operator must be able to adjust offsets and locations, as well as change inserts and cutting tools, as necessary.
The operator should have/or gain full knowledge and understanding of speeds, feeds, and surface call outs of the various machined parts.
The operator must adhere to and follow Company safety procedures and continuously work and operate all machinery in a safe manner.
The operator will be responsible for cleanup in and around the machines, as well as maintaining proper fluid levels.
Additional Skills & Qualifications: 1 year machining experience or trade school training Must be able to read and interpret blueprints. Must be able to utilize common machineshop measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc,) to inspect and qualify machined partsaccordingly. Knowledge of machine shop practices a must. Must communicate any machining errors, and or communicate corrective actionsclearly and timely.
