Our firm is currently seeking a highly organized, motivated individual to fill the position of a part time Accounting Assistant at our corporate office in the Greenhaven Pocket area in Sacramento, CA.
Responsibilities & Duties may include but not limited to the following:
Bank and credit card reconciliation
Enter Monthly billing in Rent Manager software
Input payments and rebilling in accounting system
Resolve payment discrepancies and disputes
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
Assist with answering phones and customer service
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
Experience with QuickBooks, other accounting softwares, MS office programs - Word, Excel, Outlook
Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
Must be organized, work efficiently, and be flexible in managing priorities.
A high degree of accuracy, attention to detail
Ability to learn new software programs efficiently.
Administrative skills, scanning, data entry, filing, etc.
- Part time, 20 hrs./wk
- Salary Range: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour DOE.

- Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English
- Must have a valid driver’s license & insurance.
- Must be able to pass a background and credit investigation.
Travel: Travel from Corporate Office to the bank is required, and employee must maintain a valid CA Driver License and valid California Automobile Insurance minimums.
Preferred Education and Experience:
-College degree, high school diploma, previous accounting and property management software skills, Microsoft Office – WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK
