A local accounting firm in Roseville has an opening for an intern to help during tax season (February through April) with preparation of 2025 individual tax returns. The right candidate must be able to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism, as well as independently plan, prioritize, and organize office procedures and practices.
BASIC DUTIES:
Prepare individual income tax returns
Organize and prepare workpapers for tax returns
Scan documents to network
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
No experience is required.
A recent graduate or in your 3rd or 4th year as a college student with a major in accounting looking to gain experience in the accounting field.
At least one tax class taken or will be taken during the 2026 Spring semester.
Must be able to work a minimum of 20-25 hours per week.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to quickly learn a software program
