Position Summary
We’re seeking an experienced Accounting Manager or controller to lead our accounting department, manage day-to-day financial activities, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to streamline processes and support strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities
General Responsibilities (for both roles):
Oversee daily accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, payroll, and general ledger
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial closings
Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable tax regulations
Implement and maintain internal controls
Lead and support audits (internal and external)
Assist in cash flow management and forecasting
Maintain accurate financial records and reports
Controller-Level Duties (if hired at Controller level):
Oversee budgeting and financial planning
Provide financial analysis and insights to support executive decision-making
Lead ERP implementation or upgrades
Liaise with external accountants, banks, and tax professionals
Develop long-term financial strategies in coordination with senior leadership

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred for Controller)
5+ years of progressive accounting experience (Controller candidates should have 7+ years)
Proven experience managing accounting teams and processes
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar)
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
