Growing trucking & logistics company is hiring a full time accountant responsible for the following tasks:
Billing/invoicing. Efficiently and accurately invoicing customers. Uploading invoice transactions into QBO. Sending statements to customers to expedite our cash collection process.
Payables processing. Driver settlements, repairs, shop expenses, rent, utilities, etc.
QBO transactions - accurately and promptly updating QBO transactions to the proper account. Monthly bank reconciliation and journal entries.
Asset & Liability tracking / accounting.
Work with our CPA to complete taxes.
Filing and keeping organized safety documents, and driver/employee personnel files.
Preparing accurate and timely monthly reports for management review.
Minimum requirements:
Associate’s degree in accounting.
Basic Understanding of accounting principles and accrual accounting.
Proficient using Microsoft Excel & Quickbooks online.
Strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated problem solving skills.
Trucking/logistics background helpful, not required
Salary range 52-78k depending on experience. Benefits Paid time off and retirement w/ company match. This is an in-person job with potentially flexible hours ex 5am start or 9am start depending on your schedule). This job has the opportunity to possibly become partially work from home in the future.
