Job Description
You will be responsible for working with consumers to obtain past due payments over the phone. This will include updating and maintaining records, calling on delinquent accounts, negotiating repayment terms, credit card verification's, skip tracing and all other tasks involved with receiving payments. Our ideal candidate is organized, has strong interpersonal, understanding, flexible and has strong negotiation skills, is comfortable on the phone; can handle difficult and diverse situations.
We offer a comfortable and positive work environment. You will be part of a team and have individual as well as team goals. Experience with legal processes and/or banking is helpful, but not required. Supervisory experience also a plus!
This position relies on heavy phone work. Strong communication, organizational, and problem solving skills are critical. Required Qualifications:-Comfortable speaking with people on the telephone-Strong negotiation skills-Sincere willingness to learn-Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline orientated environment-Excellent verbal and written communication skills-Attention to detail and a strong work ethic-Comfortable using the Internet and computer-Commitment to punctuality and reliability-current schedule is Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm (however must be flexible to work until 5pm and occasional evenings and/or Saturday mornings -Must pass a nationwide criminal background check.
