Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Answer phones and provide information to callers; Take messages and route calls as appropriate.

Schedule appointments.

Remind patients of upcoming appointments.

Facilitate new patient registration.

Receive and process fees or credit card payments prior to client appointments.

Determine client/patient eligibility.

Understand the organization and help navigate patients through it.

Provide equipment maintenance on a back-up basis and general administrative support (i.e. typing, filing, etc.) to supervisor and department.

Qualifications:

1+ year of high-volume call experience required.

1+ year of healthcare experience required (clinical or non-clinical).

Computer (PC) literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook email and database software.

Knowledge of community resources including Medicare, Medi-Cal, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and the county’s General Assistance Program preferred.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Location: Rancho Cordova

Pay: $18/hr. Upon successful completion of probationary period, pay increase to $22.64, plus fully employer-paid benefits

Hours: Mon-Fri between 7am – 5pm
