We are seeking competent and responsible people to help in our room and board facilities. In exchange you will receive a clean room and FREE rent. The qualified assistant will be someone who loves working with people, someone looking for a place to live, and can handle a high functioning - never dull environment. We would prefer non smoker's, but certainly those who do not drink or engage in drugs. Someone who can multi-task, able to handle occasional tough situations in a professional manner when needed, is not easily angered or offended. The ideal volunteer assistant will have an understanding of what a room and board home for those with cognitive disabilities entails, is able to cook, clean, and assist with medication. Again, "this is a volunteer" position arrangement which includes a free living arrangement, food, laundry, and all utilities paid in lieu of services and assistance during your work hours.
