Job Title: Program Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Program Coordinator will oversee a multidisciplinary day program for adults with developmental disabilities under the supervision of the Program Director and Program Administrator. Key responsibilities include program management, staff training, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Primary Duties:
- Manage program operations to uphold the AIM HIGHER brand and maintain enrollment goals (minimum 90%).
- Develop and implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and program curriculum.
- Facilitate team meetings and staff training on safety and compliance.
- Monitor adherence to state regulations and achieve annual program objectives.
- Supervise staff, interns, and volunteers, conducting performance evaluations and training.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS preferred; at least one year of managerial experience in relevant fields is ideal.
- Knowledge of developmental disabilities, community resources, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication and mathematical skills.
Requirements:
- Valid California Driver's license (Class B preferred) and relevant CPR/First Aid certifications.
- Current fingerprint clearance, physical exam, and negative TB test.
Physical Demands:
Ability to perform tasks involving walking, standing, and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs). Must navigate behavioral situations effectively and endure a 40+ hour workweek.
Work Environment:
Accessible community settings with moderate noise levels and good lighting.
