Description Emily Krous at Robert Half is looking for a senior level accounting clerk// jr. accountant. THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE ROLE not contract 30 hours a week with benefitsREMOTE WITH OCCASNONAL OFFICE VISITSDuties include:
Code payables in Great Plains
Manage cloud AP files
Update Treasurers on member dues and event income
Post iMIS batches daily
Process quick refunds
Handle sales tax, property statements, and 1099s quarterly/annually
Support CPA with tax return docs
Be the go-to for Finance & Audit Committees
Oversee payroll with Paychex and journal entries
Collaborate with EVP on annual budgets
Reconcile CSEA bank accounts
Weekly bank deductions
Handle monthly staff allocations
Create financial reports for CSEA and Education Foundation
Aid in annual CPA reviews
Requirements - General ledger experience desired
Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required
Familiar with Spreadsheet and ERP system
Ability to multitask and attention to detail are critical
