Seeking a skilled consulting professional for the role of Strategic Business and Governance Analyst. This role will be responsible for assessing and leading improvements to governance processes, leading strategic business analytics, and driving organizational change to ensure alignment with the organization's vision, mission, goals, and objectives. This role requires an individual with a combination of leadership, technical, analytical, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:

• Assess the current state effectives of the governance framework for the organization, ensuring that policies, procedures, and standards are in place and followed.
• Lead business analytics to identify, evaluate, and recommend solutions to complex business policy, process, or procedural governance problems.
• Analyze data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making and support the development of data-driven business cases.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement, eliciting their input and perspectives on governance and business analysis initiatives.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive the implementation of governance processes and business analysis initiatives.
• Develop and implement training and awareness programs to support the adoption of governance processes and business analysis methodologies.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of governance processes and business analysis initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Provide consulting and guidance to stakeholders to ensure that the organization's vision, mission, goals, and objectives are aligned with governance processes and business analysis initiatives.
• Act as a thought leader, driving innovation and transformation within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in governance, business analysis, or a related field, with a strong track record of success.
• Strong leadership, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and market insights into actionable recommendations.
• In-depth knowledge of governance best practices and the ability to develop and implement effective governance processes.
• Experience leading business analysis initiatives, leveraging data and market insights to drive business results.
• Familiarity with ITILv4 and other industry standards and best practices in service management and technical support.

This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and analytical skills, who is able to drive change through informed decision-making and effective governance.

Education, Certification, Training & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field
• Experience in medium to large IT and/or system implementation projects
• Experience in dealing with clients at all levels of the organization
• Experience in leading cross-functional / cross-departmental teams
• Experience in any of the following industries is preferred: Transportation, Corrections, Healthcare, Utilties, Justice
