Three Forks Bakery & Brewing Co is an artisan bakery, microbrewery and restaurant featuring beer made on-site, wood-fired pizza, soup, salads, small plates and sandwiches. Our simple 100% scratch organic menu highlights locally sourced ingredients. We organize our menu each week around availability from local farms. We are looking for a competent baker to bake bread and/or make morning pastry and desserts in a fun and dynamic setting. Our bakery uses high quality organic ingredients, locally sourced whenever possible. The bakery produces morning pastry, including muffins, scones, brioche, croissant, sticky buns and more. We make all of the bread for the restaurant and retail sale, much of it sourdough and some baked in our wood-fired oven. We also produce all of the desserts for the restaurant, including cakes, cookies, custards & puddings, pies, tarts and more.
Qualifications & Expectations for bread baker:
Responsible for all mixing, dividing & baking of 3-5 different breads each morning, as well as mixing and shaping our sourdough pizza dough.
Qualifications & Expectations for pizza cook:
- Prep and plate food under the direction of Head Chef
- Provide courteous and informative service in an open kitchen format
- Knowledge and understanding of maintenance and equipment/space cleaning requirements
- Minimum of 1-year experience
- Experience with scratch cooking desired
- Experience making pizza, experience with wood-fired ovens a plus
- Interest in fresh, seasonally appropriate, locally-sourced food desired
The candidate must have a strong knowledge of kitchen etiquette, a strong work ethic, willingness to work early morning shifts, experience with production baking and experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
