The Franchise Field Representative is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of 20+ pizza franchise locations within a designated geographic area. This role will work closely with franchisees and restaurant managers to ensure that each location meets or exceeds the brand’s standards for quality, customer service, and operational efficiency. The Franchise Field Representative will provide guidance and support, ensuring compliance with franchise agreements, corporate policies, and local regulations, while also helping drive growth, improve performance, and maximize profitability across the area. This position has opportunity to promote to a Director of Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Franchisee Support & Leadership:
-Serve as the primary point of contact for franchisees, offering support and guidance to ensure smooth operations.
-Foster strong relationships with franchisees to maintain brand consistency and operational success.
-Provide leadership to a team of restaurant managers across 20+ franchise locations, helping them achieve business goals and maintain high operational standards.
-Monitor and support franchisees in their implementation of corporate strategies, policies, and procedures.
Operations & Quality Control:
-Oversee the day-to-day operations of 20+ franchise pizza locations, ensuring compliance with operational standards and company procedures.
-Ensure consistent food quality, customer service, and cleanliness across all locations.
-Conduct regular site visits to review operations, perform audits, and provide feedback for improvement.
-Enforce adherence to all health and safety regulations, franchise agreements, and brand guidelines.
-Participate directly in the training process for new store staff to ensure smooth integration.
Financial Oversight & Profitability:
-Monitor and manage the financial performance of the franchise locations, helping franchisees control costs and optimize profitability.
-Analyze sales data, labor costs, inventory usage, and other operational metrics to identify areas for improvement.
-Work with franchisees to develop and implement strategies for revenue growth, cost control, and maximizing profitability.
Customer Experience & Brand Standards:
-Ensure that franchise locations maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by meeting brand standards and exceeding customer expectations.
-Promote a positive experience by ensuring the franchisees and their teams uphold brand values, including food quality, cleanliness, and friendly service.
Marketing & Promotions:
-Ensure franchisee is compliant with their marketing requirements.
-Work with franchisees to evaluate the effectiveness of promotions and adapt marketing strategies to achieve desired results.
Compliance & Safety:
-Ensure all franchise locations adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, including health, safety, and labor laws.
-Ensure franchise locations are in compliance with the franchise agreement, including brand standards and operational policies.
-Perform regular safety and cleanliness inspections to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
-Review Steritech reports and work with franchisees to rectify issues.
Reporting & Communication:
- Monitor quality and customer experience trends, working with Managers to implement corrective actions.
-Maintain clear and open communication with franchisees, offering insights, advice, and assistance in overcoming challenges.
Qualifications:
-Proven experience as a multi-unit manager, area manager, or district manager in the restaurant industry, preferably in a franchise environment.
-Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
-In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including food safety, labor management, inventory control, and cost management.
-Ability to analyze financial reports, budgets, and operational metrics to make informed decisions.
-Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence franchisees and their teams.
-Proficiency in data analysis and report generation to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
-Ability to travel frequently within the designated area to visit franchise locations and new store openings.
-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to foster productive franchisee relationships.
-Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the restaurant for extended periods.
-Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
-Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
