Minimum of 2 years experience is required.
STARTING at: $22/hour Depending on Experience + TIPS
A qualified candidate must be motivated and able to learn and adapt to our work environment. We are looking for someone who is able to work both efficiently and with great attention to detail. We are hoping to find someone reliable who can learn and grow with our business.
Sushi Chef responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Handling all seafood and other ingredients to make all sushi
Maintaining/monitoring food stock and prep
Maintaining knowledge of all menu items and ingredients
Ensuring quality and presentation of all food items
Must be able to take direction from managers
Must be able to work well under pressure while maintaining positive attitude
Skills:
Knowledge of Japanese cuisine
Knowledge of how to handle raw fish
Good knife skills including speed and accuracy
Minimum 1 year sushi experience preferred
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
