As a Kitchen Aide, you play a pivotal role in creating a memorable experience for our patrons by keeping the kitchen and lounge clean and assisting in food prep.
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dishes to ensure a clean and organized dining area
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Help with food preparation and handling
- Support kitchen staff with various tasks, as assigned
Skills:
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Familiarity with preparing and handling food to assist the Chef
- Understanding of proper sanitation procedures for cleaning dishes and kitchen tools
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team and be a hard worker
- Attention to detail to ensure dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects, if required
Other duties include, but not limited to:
· Keeping restrooms stocked and clean during operating hours.
· Preparation for opening and cleaning, restocking for preparation of next business day.
· Other duties assigned.
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in the food and beverage industry and must be at least 18 years old. A ServSafe Food Certification is required.
