Schedule: AM & PM Shifts
Pay: $16.50 per hour + tips
Hosting Duties:
Warmly greet and seat guests, ensuring a smooth and organized flow of reservations and walk-ins.
Manage the waitlist with accuracy and professionalism.
Provide guests with menus and share knowledge about specials, events, or featured drinks.
Communicate wait times clearly and ensure guests feel welcomed while waiting.
Answer phones, assist with takeout orders, and handle guest inquiries both in person and over the phone.
Bussing Duties:
Assist servers by pre-bussing tables and promptly resetting for the next guests.
Keep dining, bar, and patio areas clean and organized throughout service.
Refill water glasses, provide additional place settings, and support servers in maintaining excellent guest service.
Assist with delivering food and drinks to tables when needed.
Help maintain cleanliness of service stations and restrooms.
Team Support:
Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
Assist with stocking supplies such as glassware, napkins, condiments, and utensils.
Step in to support team members during peak rushes to maintain smooth operations.
Communicate guest needs, concerns, or special requests clearly to the service team and management.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older
Previous restaurant or bar service experience preferred
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Valid California Food Handler Card
Valid California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification
Reliable transportation
Professional appearance and demeanor
Strong multitasking and communication skills
Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
