We are looking for someone who is reliable, comes to work on time every day, works hard, and is always willing to assist the team where needed. Experience is not required.
This position will be someone that can work effectively both in a team and individually. This position will be responsible for boxing our products (i.e. chocolates) in an efficient manner. Employee may also be asked and expected to do other various tasks around the kitchen and warehouse.
This position is seasonal and will range between November 2024 - February 2025. Depending on performance and business needs, employee may be kept on permanently after February

Ginger Elizabeth Chocolates is a luxury chocolate boutique in Midtown Sacramento. It is a family-owned business which has been operating for 16 years and has become a cornerstone of midtown Sacramento. Our chocolates and desserts are inspired by local California farms and all the wonderful ingredients grown around us. We strive to create a positive work environment where our employees are encouraged to grow not only in their profession, but as individuals as well. Our commercial kitchen where production takes place is located in West Sacramento.
Job Details:
Part-Time Mornings/Afternoons (Approximately 30 hours per week)
Schedule is subject to change based on workload and the Holiday season.
Schedule will generally be Tuesday - Saturday with times ranging between 6:00 AM and 3:00 PM
Ranging between $18 - $20/hour
Location: West Sacramento
Job Requirements:
Follow written and verbal instructions exactly, including cleaning procedures
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English
Understand sense of urgency and efficiency
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 8 hours in length
Must have the ability to lift pots, pans, etc. up to 50 pounds in weight
