Birdies Social Club is a new restaurant, bar, and indoor golf venue opening this summer directly across from Sutter Health Park—home of the Sacramento A’s and River Cats. We’ll be packed with guests all week long: brunch crowds, DJs, game day traffic, and private events.
We’re hiring Security Guards / Bouncers to help manage the door, monitor the crowd, and keep the vibe fun, safe, and in control.
This is more than standing by the door—this role is key to setting the tone and protecting the space.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
– Greet guests and control access at the front door
– Check IDs and maintain a professional presence at entry
– Monitor crowd behavior inside the venue, including golf bays and outdoor areas
– De-escalate situations calmly and quickly when needed
– Support the team during busy nights and private events
– Help guests exit safely at closing time
– Report incidents to management as needed
– Stay alert, present, and respectful at all times
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
– 1+ year experience in bar/restaurant/event security preferred
– Strong communication and de-escalation skills
– Guard Card REQUIRED (or must be in process)
– Calm under pressure, but assertive when needed
– Able to stand and move for long shifts
– Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays
