Bartender / Server
Responsibilities:
· Greet customers sitting at the bar, giving them menus, and inform them about daily specials.
· Be knowledgeable about beer and wine, particularly the current beer selection.
· Interact with customers, stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
· Be able to make suggestions for food, beer and wine.
· Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences as well
as pour wine, serve draft and bottled beer. Understand which drinks go into which glasses.
· Take drink and food orders from customers/ Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
· Supply Servers their alcoholic/non alcoholic drink orders.
· Check the identification of customers, to ensure that they are of legal drinking age.
· Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, washing glasses, utensils and equipment.
· Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed. Restock and replenish
bar inventory and supplies.
· Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and patrons.
· Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are
accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
Requirements/Qualifications:
· High School Diploma.
· Meet the state minimum age to serve alcohol.
· Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance.
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
· Strong task and time management abilities.
· Ability to lift kegs.
· Previous experience in the food service or bartending industry is preferred.
· Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests and colleagues.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
· Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
· Must have valid ID/Employment Authorization to prove eligibility to work in the U.S. (E-Verify will be utilized)
