BARTENDER
Qualifications/Responsibilities:
At least 3 years' bartending with craft cocktail experience in a high-volume restaurant
Extensive Food and beverage knowledge
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Advanced POS skills – we use Toast.
Ability to obtain any governmental required licenses or certificates (for example, Serve Safe certification or any other
Food Handler’s permit required in CA )
Must have a valid alcohol awareness certification or be capable of obtaining certification
Ability to work on your feet for long shifts
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Responsible for overall guest experience
Ability to frequently lift and carry food, beverages, and other items greater than 25 pounds
SERVER
Qualifications/Responsibilities:
At least 3 years' server experience in fine dining required
Comprehensive food knowledge of components and techniques, great timing and organizational skills
Comprehensive knowledge of beer, wines, spirits and craft cocktails
Ability to describe food accurately to guests
Experience working with a professional team (we do not tolerate any type of drama, gossip or laziness)
Maintain all steps of Service and the Shangri-la standards with each guest
Ability to work on your feet for long shifts (in the Summer it is primarily outside on our patio)
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Able to frequently lift and carry food, beverages, and other items greater than 25 pounds.
HOST
Qualifications/Responsibilities:
MUST HAVE RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE
Being the face of the business – greeting and thanking guests as they arrive and leave
Proficiency in restaurant reservation programs (we use yelp reservations)
Experience working with the general public
Maintain all steps of Service and the Shangri-la standards with each guest
Ability to work on your feet for long shifts (in the Summer it is primarily outside on our patio)
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Able to frequently lift and carry food, beverages, and other items greater than 25 pounds.
