Care giver for 21-year-old male who is developmentally disabled, quadriplegic, and medically fragile seeks a caregiver. Part time shift available, night shift preferred
Tasks:
Bathing and diapering
Exercise, applying splints, and positioning
Transfer from bed to wheelchair
Cleaning medical equipment
Light housekeeping and laundry
Giving breathing treatments
Suctioning mouth and trach
Cleaning trach and g tube site
Giving medications and food via g tube
Qualifications:
Some medical experience preferred
Flexible schedule preferred
Minimum semi tech-savvy preferred
Pulse oximeter and concentrator knowledge preferred
Requirements:
Must have reliable transportation, a valid CA driver’s license, and clean driving record
Speak English Fluently
Must be a NON-SMOKER
IHSS certified or willing to become IHSS certified before employment
Covid and flu vaccines required
Physically capable required
Please Note:
Previous caregiving/personal assisting experience is preferred but training is provided. I am looking for a person who is mature, enjoys learning and has attention to detail.
