We are looking for an experienced caregiver to care for an elderly veteran who lives alone and needs some assistance with light personal care, light housekeeping, laundry and meal prep.

DUTIES:
- Engage with the client through companionship and emotional support to promote mental stimulation and overall well-being.
- Assist with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, medication management, and toileting if needed.
- Engage with the client through companionship and emotional support to promote mental stimulation and over-all well being.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary needs.
- Maintain cleanliness in resident living areas, including laundry and housekeeping tasks.
- Monitor client's health and report any changes in condition to the agency Manager.
- Ensure client rights are respected and upheld at all times.
- Assist in daily ambulation as needed.
SKILLS:
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
- Ability to prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements.
- Proficient in maintaining cleanliness and organization within living spaces.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with the client, family, co-workers, and agency Managers.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist clients safely while adhering to proper techniques.
- Knowledge of clients' rights and commitment to providing respectful care.
- Dependable and equipped with reliable transportation to ensure punctuality and consistent availability.
- Dedicated professional with a strong work ethic and a proven ability to consistently honor work schedule commitments
