IHSS Caregiver for adult male in wheelchair.
Three shifts available one in the morning, and one in the evening on weekdays, and one in the morning, and evening on the weekends.
Land Park near City College.
Compensation: $13 per hour through IHSS
Requirements:
Must be able to pass a background check.
Complete a 3 hour course through IHSS.
Shifts are weekdays one and a half hours In the morning to get Tyler up, showered, dressed and in his wheelchair. Another one and a half hours in the evenings to toilet, undress, and transfer him to bed, weekdays. The third shift is on weekend mornings and evenings. Ideal for City College student needing parttime work.
In order to be paid, you have to sign up with In-Home Support Services (IHSS). They requires you to go to one orientation class and pay the Sacramento county $42 to get your fingerprints and a background check done. It generally takes 6 weeks. IHSS will pay you twice a month.
