Dental Office Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Office Manager to join our team. The Dental Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dental practice, ensuring efficient workflow, exceptional patient care, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of the dental office operations, including patient scheduling, billing, insurance claims processing, and inventory management.

Manage and supervise administrative staff, dental assistants, and hygienists to ensure smooth workflow and optimal productivity.

Develop and implement office policies and procedures to maintain a high standard of quality and efficiency.

Coordinate staff schedules and assignments to ensure adequate coverage and optimal patient flow.

Monitor and manage patient accounts, including billing, collections, and payment processing.

Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner, ensuring exceptional customer service at all times.

Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, OSHA, and state dental board regulations.

Conduct regular staff meetings to provide updates, discuss performance goals, and address any issues or concerns.

Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care and treatment plans.

Oversee the maintenance of dental equipment and facilities, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Manage office finances, including budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in dental technology to continuously improve office operations and patient care.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or related field preferred.

Proven experience working in a dental office management role, with a strong understanding of dental office procedures and protocols.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage staff to achieve goals.

Proficiency in dental practice management software and Microsoft Office applications.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Knowledge of dental billing and insurance procedures, including coding and claims submission.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling patient information.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Current CPR certification and any other relevant certifications/licenses required by state regulations.
