Authorization Coordinators - Insurance Confirmations
We have several temporary Authorizations Coordinator positions for 13-week assignments with possible extensions or chance of becoming a fulltime employee.
You provide Medical administration support by obtaining referrals or prior authorizations for patients to see specialty providers.
Responsibilities include processing authorization and referral requests, coordinating with health plans and contracted providers, and supporting Case Management staff.
The role serves as a resource for providers regarding the authorization process and requires strong knowledge of medical terminology, Microsoft Office, and attention to detail.
You MUST have 2 years of relevant experience as well as hands on experience with Epic EMR.
You must have a clean criminal background and be able to pass a drug screen (THC is NOT included on the drug test).
You must have either a high school diploma or GED.
This position is 100% Remote - which means you can work from home.

Skills & Knowledge: Medical terminology, CPT/HCPCS/ICD-9 coding knowledge, proficiency in Microsoft Office, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain composure during challenging interactions.
