Part-time Female Caregiver/Companion Wanted for Geriatric Female (Rancho Cordova/Gold River)
Looking for a mature, dedicated and patient caregiver to help with daily routine. The hours would be from 11:30a-3:30p
Mon-Fri. Location is a private residence. She is 5'0" and weighs 119lbs.
Duties include but are not limited to grooming and dressing, light meal/snack prep, light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, trash, etc.) Conversation and companionship. Errands, grocery shopping, medical appts, etc.) Bathing, including hair washing.
Minimum job requirements: Current California drivers license, up to date AHCA License.
Preferred interests: Current events and news. Watches CNN and MSNBC all day and loves to talk to like minded people ;) about current events. Is well read and especially enjoys historical biographies (i.e. Michelle Obama, Jackie Kennedy). Enjoys chocolate, wine and LOVES animals!
Please be aware there is a beautiful and well behaved cat in the house that the caregiver would not be expected to care for except normal daily sweeping (as one of the "clients chores" that she needs assistance with. As exercise and to help stay engaged with the household routine.)
Pay starts at $17 per hour.
