We are seeking a full-time Optometric Assistant for our busy optometry office in Fairfield. We are looking for someone with a friendly, upbeat personality who has a great work ethic and a positive attitude. We are a team oriented office. We work hard, but we like to enjoy our job and the people we work with. A smile is a good thing. Experience in the optical field is preferred, but not required. We will train the right person.
Job duties include (but are not limited to): pretesting patients, frame selections, frame adjusting and repairing, contact lens training, lens neutralizing, filing, answering phones, and general office cleaning.
We offer a 401K plan, vacation, sick leave, and medical and vision benefits for full time employees. We are open M-F, with a rare Saturday to assist with inventory.
