Interviewing immediately in El Dorado Hills –
Hourly range $15.00 - $25.00 DOE
Christian family ideally seeking full-time, in-home Elder Care for our good-natured, quiet, Veteran dad/grandfather. If you are an experienced, kind Elder Caregiver that has worked in either a nursing care facility, assisted living, or as in-home private care – If you are retired and have positive high energy and enjoy taking care of folks that are up in age to make them more comfortable in their days - We would love to hear from you!
We have a 2 bedroom /1 bath in-law unit on lovely horse property along with some friendly goats - All that is missing is some added companionship, and meals prepared with care for things to run a bit smoother here on the ranch and make it that much better for Grandpa!
If you are not looking for a live-in situation we would be willing to talk about Morning or Afternoon shifts as well!
Responsibilities include but, are not limited to:
Plan and prepare meals, followed by clean-up
Monitor food expiration dates, make future meals
Make beds and change linens, as needed
Light housekeeping to include dusting and vacuuming
Assist with bathing, dressing as well as grooming
Laundry
Take out garbage
Run errands (pick up prescriptions, dry cleaning)
Engage in physical and mental exercises
Provide medication reminders
Escort on appointments, religious services or events (barber, physical therapy, etc.)
Maintain calendar and organize mail
Engage in activities (games, memory books)
Companionship
Record daily care notes and report any significant client changes
