Placerville Dental Care is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our professional team. Located in the heart of Placerville, CA, we pride ourselves on providing top-notch dental services to our community. We are looking for a passionate individual who is committed to promoting oral health while providing personalized care to our patients.
Position Details:
Type: Part-time (2-4 days per week)
Pay: $55 to $60 per hour, dependent on experience (DOE)
Responsibilities:
Conduct initial dental assessments and evaluate patient oral health.
Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and apply sealants and fluorides.
Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies, including brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling.
Take dental radiographs (x-rays).
Maintain documentation and patient dental records.
Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines in all operations.
Requirements:
Current Dental Hygienist license in CA.
Excellent working knowledge of overall dentistry and dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.
Experience using dental technology and computer systems.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centric approach.
