We have an immediate opening for a motivated, caring, professional Dental Hygienist in McKinleyville, CA. This position is for Monday through Thursday, normal business hours. The Hygienist will perform examinations and extensive cleanings, take x-rays when necessary, and administer fluoride treatments. At the end of each cleaning, the hygienist is anticipated to provide our patients with instructions on effective brushing and flossing techniques along with information regarding the links between excellence in oral healthcare and systemic healthcare. Current California state license is required and demonstrated willingness for learning and integration into our team and community. We pride ourselves in providing excellent care to all of our patients and we are seeking a hygienist who holds these same values as well. Full Time or Part Time positions available.

Registered Dental Hygienist Requirements and Qualifications:
Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program
Current state license, Laser and x-ray certification. If no laser certification, willingness to obtain it within three months of hire.
Excellent understanding of dental hygiene procedures
Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
Excellent communication skills
Proficient with dental industry software
