Looking for someone to assist with care for my frail mother for a few hours each night and/or occasional weekend days. She uses a walker and sometimes a wheelchair but needs someone there with her at all times with the walker as she cannot maneuver it independently and is a very high fall risk. She needs assistance with toileting, dressing, sitting/standing up, etc.
Possible times and needs
any day - 9pm – midnight - get her ready for bed and help with transferring her from bed to toilet safely if she needs to get up.
any day - midnight – 3am - assist her transferring from her bed to the toilet safely.
Saturday or Sunday from 12–4pm - bring her light lunch, tea, water assist with transferring between toilet / living room / bedroom.
She has a caregiver who comes regularly in the day for 3 hours per day most days and my brother lives with her to assist with other times. We hope with this additional caregiver can provide him relief at night so he can get a full sleep and the ability to do things on weekends occasionally.
We can pay $16-20/hr cash.
