AWI Management Corporation, a property management company located in Auburn, CA, is seeking an HR Assistant to work in our office. This is a full time position. Remote work is not available.
The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, have a positive attitude, and be diligent in tracking a variety of work processes. Job responsibilities will include assisting the department with all HR and Payroll related tasks to include:
Placement of ads for job openings, reference checking, tracking benefit time, managing personnel files, follow up on collect missing documents/data from employees, filing, respond to employment verifications.
Assisting with wage garnishment processing.
Mailing payroll; depositing and tracking payroll reimbursements from properties.
Filing.
Assisting when needed with department needs.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge of California Wage and Hour Laws helpful
Ability to multi task with accuracy – this is a fast paced environment
Ability to be organized meeting department deadlines
Strong MS Outlook; Word; Excel;10 key by touch
Must have good math skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Able to communicate across various audience levels
Have a good work ethic; good attendance is required
Must be detail oriented
Friendly, professional demeanor; be a team player
Ability to get along with people
Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times
Strong active listening skills
Valid CA Drivers License, reliable transportation
Authorized to work in the United States
