JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assists the Human Resources Manager with the coordination of human resources policies, programs and administrative practices.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Prepares and maintains records and procedures for personnel transactions and entry of personnel data in HRIS. Maintain legal and accurate personnel files.
2. Updates personnel forms and supports the maintenance of active and inactive personnel records by all departments. Supports data entry for HRIS database.
3. Coordinates recruitment efforts with hiring managers, coordinates interviews, accepts resumes and applications, interviews and assists with the final decision process. Conducts drug tests & new hire orientation programs.
4. Creates and responds to all necessary HR correspondence as directed by HR Manager.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Assists the HR Manager with Employee Relations and Recognition program(s)
2. Coordinates Employee Newsletter. Distribute employee notifications.
3. Assists with the planning and execution of two all-employee functions annually.
4. Other duties as required.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Able to sit, walk or stand for long periods of time. Performance of duties will require employee to be both inside and outside exposed to elements including cold, rain, wind and extreme heat. Able to lift, carry, push, pull, reach, bend and squat daily.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. 4 year college degree in HR or related field and 2 years experience and/or 5 years equivalent experience.
2. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, email and internet.
3. Bilingual Proficiency preferred with 2 years experience in conversational English/Spanish.
4. Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, dispute resolution and presentational skills.
5. Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse situations.
6. Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance.

Work Schedule Details: Part-time (24-29 hours M-F). Overtime as required.
Compensation: $23.00 - $26.00 hourly (DOE), paid sick leave, 401k+match
