Job Description:
MJK Auto Sales & Truck Shop is seeking a skilled and reliable full-time mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on trucks, vans, and other vehicles, with a focus on safety, modification, and customization. In this role, you will be responsible for performing vehicle safety inspections, as well as installing lift kits, towing airbags, camper shells, power running boards, and other aftermarket accessories.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform safety inspections and ensure all vehicles are compliant with industry standards.
Install lift kits, towing airbags, camper shells, and power running boards on trucks and other vehicles.
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in trucks and vehicles.
Assist with general mechanical maintenance, including oil changes, brake replacements, tire rotations, and suspension work.
Work with customers and other team members to ensure vehicles are serviced promptly and efficiently.
Maintain clean and organized work environment in the shop.
Ensure all work is performed safely and adheres to quality and safety standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with a focus on trucks and heavy-duty vehicles.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Experience installing lift kits, towing airbags, camper shells, power running boards, and other truck accessories is preferred.
Ability to read and understand repair manuals and technical documents.
Clean driving record is desired (must be able to drive vehicles for test drives or delivery).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
