Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Tire Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for mounting, balancing, and repairing tires for a variety of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of tire maintenance and repair, as well as excellent customer service skills. This position requires a professional who can work quickly and efficiently while maintaining an important level of safety and quality assurance.
Responsibilities
Perform tire maintenance and repairs, including tire balancing, rotation, and replacement.
Inspect tires for wear and damage.
Inspect and adjust tire pressure to meet manufacturer specifications.
Ensure that all tools and equipment are in good working order.
Assist in inventory and shop housekeeping.
Operate machinery and equipment as needed to perform job duties.
Work as part of a team when required.
PHYSICAL AND/OR MENTAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to:
Work in an environment where there can be loud noise.
Frequently stand to perform work. Lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, twisting is part of the normal physical demands of the job.
Ability to lift to seventy-five (75) pounds.
Drive service vehicles, adhere to rules of the roads, operate vehicles, machinery, and equipment in a safe manner.
Work flexible/varying schedule to support the team and customers.
