We are a family owned and operated company with over 40 years of experience in the greater Sacramento area. We specialize in cutting and grading lots for new construction including underground utilities, retaining walls, waterproofing and storm drains. We are looking for a self motivated, quick learning, skilled laborer with experience in the field.
JOB DUTIES:
Prepare and maintain equipment daily (check fluids, grease equipment, check tire pressure, clean windows, etc.)
Use water truck/hose to prepare soil for compaction, and operate a compaction wheel
Set up and use laser level to shoot grades
Assist loading and securing equipment onto trailers with chains and binders
Safely driving utility truck to and from job sites
Use chainsaw to clear lots of trees and brush
Assist in laying underground utility pipe
Apply waterproofing to concrete and block walls
Use power tools as necessary
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Class C drivers license
Reliable transportation
At least 2 years experience in general construction
RECOMMENDED
Experience working with and around heavy equipment
Class A drivers license
2 years experience with job duties mentioned above
Position is full time with occasional weekend days required and pays well for qualified applicants.
