Job Title: Dispatcher
Location: Franklin Blvd Sacramento, CA

Pay Range: $20 - $23/hr
Schedule:
Monday-Friday/Saturday (5-6 work days per week)
Standard shift: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM (overtime may be required)
40-60 hour work weeks, with daily overtime as needed
Most Sundays off, but may be required to work depending on business needs
About the Role:
In this role, you'll be a key player in ensuring the efficiency of our warehouse operations. You'll collaborate with our logistics team to plan delivery routes, coordinate drivers, monitor deliveries in real time, and maintain inventory records. This is a fast-paced position that requires a proactive mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan efficient delivery routes considering traffic, package volume, and delivery windows
Dispatch delivery drivers with all necessary resources and information
Monitor deliveries in real time, addressing any issues that arise
Train delivery service providers (DSP) to improve last-mile operations and customer service
Act as a point of contact for DSPs, resolving delivery-related issues
Maintain accurate inventory records at the distribution center
Conduct quality checks on packages
Generate performance reports on delivery times, success rates, and areas for improvement
Ensure compliance with safety regulations
Identify and implement process improvements for increased efficiency
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of warehouse or logistics experience
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle unexpected situations
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Fluent in English; Chinese speaking is a plus but not required
Capable of lifting and moving at least 50 lbs continuously
