As an Embroidery Operator, this role is responsible for operating a computerized Embroidery machine to process customer requested specialty orders including uniforms, special event apparel, and head wear.
Embroidery Machine Operator (Rancho Cordova)
Hours: Monday – Friday 6am-230pm with the possibility of more depending on production schedule.
Job Duties:
- Operate multi-head embroidery machine
- Prepare product for embroidery on machine: Hoop garments, load machine
- Trim and finish completed garments
- Basic machine maintenance
- Keep workplace clean and organized
- Maintain orderliness in pending and completed jobs
- Maintain work records as needed or requested
- Other duties as assigned
Skills Required:
- Prior experience operating multi-head embroidery machine
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent management skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to lift and carry at least 30lbs for at least 30 feet
- Ability to stand for majority of shift
- Ability to carry out repetitive fine motor skill motions
Spanish speaking a plus.
