Essential duties:
Perform routine maintenance of on-road and off-highway equipment
Diagnose and repair equipment as needed to keep fleet operational
Working knowledge of engines, transmissions, electric and hydraulic systems
Small engine maintenance and repair including pumps, string trimmers and chainsaws
Maintain records of maintenance and repairs
Ability to work both in shop and in field
Valid driver’s license
Must own your own basic tools
Desired abilities/experience:
Fabrication experience including cutting and welding
Ability to read and understand electric and hydraulic schematics
Experience with tracked vehicles (small dozers)
Spanish bi-lingual is a plus
Class A CDL is a plus
Working environment includes but not limited to:
Outside in all weather types, inside at desk or working on equipment, bending, stooping, walking on uneven terrain and on concrete, lifting heavy objects, loud noises, mechanical and agricultural fluids and chemicals.
