Bar None Auction is looking to hire inventory personel to check-in equipment, machinery, and vehicles for auction. Applicants should have experience and knowledge with Commercial Trucks, Trailers, Construction Equipment, Farm Machinery, Industrial Tools, and Automobiles
Job responsibilities will include:
Writing a full description of items upon check-in that describes the machine in detail.
Take quality photos of the machinery and vehicles to include engine compartment, interior, exterior and Video.
Operating and moving equipment around in auction yard.
Forklift Operation to unload trucks using 5,000 lb warehouse type forklift.
The items being inventoried will range from vehicles, commercial trucks, trailers, heavy construction equipment, agricultural tractors, and industrial machinery.
The job is a high volume position requiring employee to hand write descriptions, enter data in to computer in a proficient manner, and manage file data for images. Applicants must be computer literate and comfortable working outside in a construction yard environment and able to transition to a desk for data entry and inventory research.
Applicants should be able to:
Efficiently and accurately identify details of variety of inventory types.
Provide customer service to all customers.
Take quality pictures and maintain high volume daily quota.
Ability to multi task on a daily basis and follow up on tasks without supervision.
Must be a self starter , neat and organized.
Able to conduct internet research for serial numbers, years, and expand descriptions of unique items. Provide friendly customer service.
Communicate with other employees in a positive way.
Comfortable with email and telephone communication.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma.
- Data entry minimum 20 words per minute.
- Computer proficiency (MS Office Word / Suite).
- Basic knowledge of vehicle type and general types of construction equipment.
Applicants with the most knowledge of a variety of equipment types will be considered best applicants and attract a higher starting wage. This is not an equipment operating position but rater a data entry and check-in position requiring writing skills.
