We're looking for someone with janitorial experience to do General common area cleaning and apartment turnovers. This entails carpet/stairs cleaning and essential janitorial services. We also have general cleaning jobs, which include doing common area cleaning.
A few important items to have:
Having a backpack vacuum is a must for easy stair cleaning.
The ability to clean carpets
A blower
mop and bucket
general cleaning supplies/chemicals
Must be licensed
Must have own liability insurance.
Must have all supplies and cleaning equipment.
The General cleaning job is on a weekly cleaning schedule and pays approx 50.00/hour. Individual apartment turnovers are on a per-job basis when we need it. Generally, it takes no longer than 4-5 hours to clean the building well if you know what you're doing. We have other buildings as well so there is an opportunity to grow in this position. You should expect to make 200-250 per week doing general common area cleaning. Each apartment turnover makes around 200-350 depending on the work. We would like to build a good relationship with the right person because we will have more building opportunities in the future.
We provide no employee benefits such as health or IRA because this is a 1099 job. You are a private contractor, not an employee.
This is a great opportunity to earn side income if you are motivated and know how to properly clean.
We recommend to be set up online to receive payments We typically use QuickBooks or other types of online invoicing. We can also do it the old fashioned way. We pay monthly not weekly and you are required to submit a professional bill each month to be paid.
