Against The Flooring is a quality-driven flooring company specializing in Hardwood installation and refinishing, Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) and Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) flooring. We’re committed to delivering clean, professional results for both residential and commercial clients. We’re currently hiring a reliable and experienced LVT/LVP Flooring Installer. Experience with carpet and hardwood flooring is a strong plus.
Position Summary:
As an LVT/LVP Flooring Installer, you’ll be responsible for installing LVT/LVP flooring in a variety of settings. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a keen eye for detail, and can work independently or as part of a crew. Occasional work with carpet and hardwood may be available depending on your skill set.
Key Responsibilities:
Install LVT/LVP flooring (click-lock, glue-down, loose lay)
Perform job site preparation, including leveling and patching subfloors
Read and follow floor plans and installation specs accurately
Communicate clearly with project managers, other team members and customers
Maintain a clean work environment
Occasionally assist with carpet or hardwood flooring installations (if experienced)
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience installing LVT and LVP flooring
Experience with carpet and/or hardwood flooring is a plus
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and flooring installation methods
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Able to follow directions and work with minimal supervision
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
