Eco Appliance Recycling in Rancho Cordova is looking for a part-time Laborer and Class C Delivery Truck Driver. 10 to 15 hours a week, Saturday & Sunday. Must be able to load and unload a 20 ft box truck of household appliances using a hand truck and a lift gate. Route is in, and around, Sacramento County bringing appliances to and from our warehouse in Rancho Cordova. Experience with driving a 20ft box truck, and a clean driving record, is necessary to apply for this position. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Forklift experience is NOT necessary as everything is moved by hand truck. Since this is a weekend job, you must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
A typical day starts with driving the box truck on provided route. You will be loading and unloading appliances at the warehouse and off loading them, by yourself, at set destinations. You will be doing this a few times per day along with any pick ups, and/or deliveries to customers, that are on your set route. This is a very physical job. Efficiency is a must. Team player is needed. Being self motivated and disciplined is necessary. Training is paid according to experience.
