Pool/Spa Service and Repair Technician
Family-owned Commercial and Residential Pool Service Company servicing greater Yolo County is seeking an experienced Pool and Spa Repair Technician to join our team. Our company focuses on commercial and residential pool services, maintenance, and repairs.
This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of pool equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, customer-focused, and committed to our mission of exceptional pool service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, and chlorinators.
- Installation: Install new or replacement pool equipment and accessories as needed.
- Maintenance & Upkeep: Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and operational efficiency.
- Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to explain issues
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and standards, including the proper handling of chemicals and electrical components.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including diagnostics, parts used, and client communications.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the service team to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in pool equipment repair or a related field (preferred).
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of pool equipment systems, hydraulics, and electrical components.
Proficiency with tools and diagnostic equipment.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Licenses & Certifications:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
CPO (Certified Pool Operator) or equivalent certification (preferred).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 100 pounds.
Comfort with working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment.
