We have a ranch helper /laborer position on the farm starting immediately. The position is full time and will last 3 months. Looking to have someone start immediately. You must have a valid social security number.
Your day will consist of general farm work ranging from unloading materials, shoveling gravel/dirt, mowing , weed eating, picking up trash, pruning, unloading pumpkins from bins, all around helping out, etc. You must be able to comfortably lift 40 pounds on a regular basis. Applicant must have proven experience using hand tools, general clean up, etc. The work days are Monday - Friday. 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
If you have never done farm/ landscape labor 8 hours per day this job is probably not for you.
The pay is $18.00 per hour.
We are 20 minutes from downtown Sacramento and 5 minutes from East Elk Grove. You must have reliable transportation as public transportation is not offered near our location.
There are multiple school children that visit the farm so your name will have to be verified the the Megan's Law Database.
