Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Hood Vent Cleaning Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with commercial kitchen exhaust systems, rooftop fan units, filters, and duct cleaning.
Responsibilities include:
Cleaning and maintaining commercial kitchen hood vent systems
Inspecting exhaust fans, ductwork, and filters for grease buildup and compliance
Setting up containment areas and maintaining clean, safe work zones
Using professional-grade cleaning equipment, degreasers, and pressure washing tools
Completing before/after photos and customer documentation
Maintaining company vehicle, equipment, and safety gear
Providing excellent customer service to restaurant managers and owners
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience in hood vent or exhaust cleaning
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders or rooftops safely
Flexible schedule — evening or overnight shifts required (when restaurants are closed)
Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
Ability to follow SOPs and company safety procedures
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred:
OSHA certification or safety training
Experience using pressure washing systems
Previous work in commercial hood cleaning
